ProactiveVA TB Series: Contingency Planning – Sociological Considerations
|
What safeguards do you have in place for your business? Have you documented your business to allow someone to “fill your shoes” in your absence? Are you thinking of adding team members, but worry that they will complete assignments to your standards? The VAinsider Club is excited to introduce the “Thriving Business Accountability Group.” The purpose of this group is to work as a group to complete a business procedure manual and begin the daunting task of documenting your business. The overwhelming task of documenting your business will be broken into smaller areas of your business to provide you with a focus and the ability to break this large task into manageable sections. Description: In the third of our contingency planning series we will talk about the sociological aspects of contingency planning. We will look at how society and their actions can affect your business and provide you with the tools to prepare some solid contingency plans to ensure your business can survive an ever changing society. Yvonne Weld, the author of The Ultimate Guide to Creating a Thriving Business, has generously offered her time to lead this group and provide her experience and expertise as you work to complete your procedure manual. Purpose: To work together to develop our processes – by providing accountability, participants are more likely to work on the task and by the end of the eighteen months (or sooner) their process manual would be completed.
