What is the Proactive VA Series?
A Virtual Assistant who strategically seeks ways to help their client’s business grow because of an invested interest in their business.
If the client succeeds -> the VA succeeds!

This series of workshops presented by Tawnya Sutherland, founder of VAnetworking.com and Certified Internet Marketing Specialist (Visit Website), will help you take your VA business to that next level of success that will switch your yearly income into the financial levels you have always dreamed of.
Intro to Proactive VA
Learn all about what a Proactive VA is and how to begin this journey in your VA business. If your ultimate goal in business is to have the lifestyle you’ve always dreamed of whether it be the ability to take all the time off you want or have the six figure plus income, you need to become Proactive and make your business do what you want it to do. At the end of the day a business is an inanimate object and will only do what it’s instructed to do. A rock will only roll down a hill if it is pushed.
Putting Power into Action
In this workshop you’ll learn what it takes to become a Proactive VA and how to do it. By implementing this POWER process, your client will then see you as a contributing partner to the viability of their business as opposed to an outsource expense.
Setting Sail to Financial Freedom
This workshop helps you find the financial freedom to increase your revenue without having to increase your hourly output. Setting sail to financial freedom is to work smarter, not harder.

Thriving Business Accountability

Date/Time: 2pm–3pm EST – July 23rd, 2010
(2nd Friday of each month)

Topic: Describing Your Business
Description: In this class we will discuss creating an executive summary, business introduction and identity Statement. We will also discuss mission and vision statements and how to create one for your business. Finally we will discuss the different business structures available so you can determine the best business structure for you.
What safeguards do you have in place for your business? Have you documented your business to allow someone to “fill your shoes” in your absence? Are you thinking of adding team members, but worry that they will complete assignments to your standards? The VAinsider Club is excited to introduce the “Thriving Business Accountability Group.” The purpose of this group is to work as a group to complete a business procedure manual and begin the daunting task of documenting your business. The overwhelming task of documenting your business will be broken into smaller areas of your business to provide you with a focus and the ability to break this large task into manageable sections.
Yvonne Weld, the author of The Ultimate Guide to Creating a Thriving Business, has generously offered her time to lead this group and provide her experience and expertise as you work to complete your procedure manual.
Purpose: To work together to develop our processes – by providing accountability, participants are more likely to work on the task and by the end of the eighteen months (or sooner) their process manual would be completed.
Requirements of Participants:
- Meet monthly to discuss/brainstorm the topic from the previous meeting/call. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and work together to ensure that the information has been completed. These questions would need to be general in nature as we cannot have someone dominating the call with a question specific to their individual business.
- I will then present on the topic and assign tasks to work on over the next two weeks.
- These monthly calls are 1 hour in length and held in the conference room.
- Participants would need to be willing to commit to putting the work together before each call.
Opportunities available:
- Should a participant want to have an outside brainstorming call with me on specific questions or concerns with their individual business these would be available as per my scheduling availability.
- Normal brainstorming calls would cost $50.00 but for participants the fee would be $40.00. These calls are 30-45 minutes long.
